Who is responsible

J P Ferreira Creative Ltd is the controller for the personal data described below that actually leaves your device. The postal address is 59 Lower Court Road, Epsom, England, KT19 8SW. You can also write to hello@jppferreira.com. Job data that stays on your phone is under your control. Trade Report does not receive it.

Who Trade Report is for

Trade Report is a local-first app for tradespeople and small service businesses. It keeps a record of a finished job — photos, notes, and an optional customer signature — and turns that into a PDF report you can share.

What is stored, and where

Jobs, customer names, addresses, notes, photos, signatures, and generated PDFs are stored only in this app on your phone or tablet. The business details you add for the report — such as your name, logo, phone number, and email — stay there too.

Trade Report does not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes this information. Nothing about a job is uploaded automatically.

What is not collected

There is no account and no sign-in. There is no cloud database of customers or jobs, no advertising, and no analytics of customer or job information. Trade Report does not sell personal information, and it does not share it for advertising.

Network use is the in-app purchase flow that iOS or Android runs with the App Store or Google Play, and a bug report you choose to send from the app.

Trade Report does not use analytics or an automatic crash-reporting service. A failure in the app is not sent anywhere unless you choose Send a report or write a bug report.

Bug reports

If you send a bug report from Settings, or tap Send a report after a screen fails, the text you write or the error text on that screen, the app version, and the device platform (such as iOS or Android) are sent to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). FormSubmit emails that message to the developer at hello@jppferreira.com. A crash is not sent on its own. The report does not include a stack trace. FormSubmit does not receive job photos, signatures, customer details, or PDF reports. Sending a report is optional. The lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it by asking for that email to be deleted.

A bug report is kept only while it is needed to look into the problem, and it is deleted within 24 months of the day it was sent.

Purchases

The free tier includes 3 reports. Pro unlocks unlimited reports, branding, and customer signatures. The price is whatever the store shows when you buy.

Apple and Google process the payment under their own privacy policies. The lawful basis for that payment is the contract you make with the store. Trade Report receives confirmation that your purchase is active. It does not receive your card or payment details.

Sharing a PDF

A report stays on the device until you choose to share or save it. Sharing uses the phone’s share sheet. On Android you can also save a copy to a folder you pick. The file leaves the device only because you sent it.

Saving a backup

From Settings → Data & privacy you can save one zip file. You confirm before it is created. The file contains every job on the device: customer names and addresses, photos, private notes, signatures, PDF reports, and the business profile, including contact details and any tax numbers you added. A text export is separate and leaves out photos and signatures.

iCloud Drive, Google Drive, and a folder on the phone are locations in the system file picker. Trade Report does not sign in to Apple or Google, and it does not upload the file itself. If you choose Google Drive, the copy sits in your own Google account. Google’s terms apply to that copy. Trade Report cannot see it or delete it.

The app does not keep its own copy of that zip after you save. The file you saved stays in the place you chose until you delete it there. Deleting a job, deleting all app data, or uninstalling Trade Report removes only what is on the device. Delete the zip from Google Drive, iCloud Drive, or Files when you no longer want that copy.

Deleting your data

You can delete a job from the job screen. That removes its photos, signature, and generated reports from the device.

You can delete all app data from Settings → Data & privacy. That clears jobs, photos, signatures, reports, and the business profile stored in the app. It does not cancel a purchase you already made with Apple or Google, and it does not delete a backup zip you already saved to Google Drive, iCloud Drive, or Files.

This website

This site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not set analytics cookies. It does not collect a name or email address unless you choose to email the address below.

Those files are not requested when the page opens. A banner asks first. If you allow it, the page then requests the Lexend typeface from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). On the home page it also requests a script from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) so the phone illustration can draw. Those services then receive your IP address and the usual browser details needed to send the file. The lawful basis is your consent. If you decline, nothing is sent to them, and the pages still read with a typeface already on your device. The choice is stored only in this browser.

How long information is kept

Jobs, photos, notes, signatures, and PDFs stay on your device until you delete them. A backup zip is not kept by Trade Report after you save it. The copy in Google Drive, iCloud Drive, or Files stays until you delete that file. A bug report email is deleted within 24 months. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own rules.

Your rights

Where UK or EU data-protection law applies, you can ask for a copy of the personal data the developer holds about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, ask for processing to be limited, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent for a bug report. You can also ask for a portable copy of a bug report you sent. Job data that never left your device is not held by the developer, so those requests are handled on the phone with delete job or delete all app data.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk), or to your local authority if you are in the EU.

Transfers outside the UK

FormSubmit, Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Apple, and Google may process a request on servers outside the United Kingdom. A bug report is the only message the developer asks a service to deliver. Font and script requests happen only if you allow them on this site. A backup you save to Google Drive is stored in your Google account, which may be outside the UK.

Children

Trade Report is a tool for people doing trade and service work. It is not directed at children.
